My go to tool for any OSINT setup is Obsidian.
Usefull plugins include Dataview and Advanced Tables.

After setting up a vault I would usually create a "main" note on the entity or person or topic I'm researching that includes a general description of said something, and a todo list of what I want to achieve in the vault.

Subsequent notes are created to document other things like events, social media accounts, images, and so on. The mermaid markup language (which is natively supported in Obsidian notes) help in creating timelines, tables and charts.

The upside of documenting this in Obsidian is that all the data is contained in basic markdown files so they are easy to share, and the search engine in Obsidian in combination with the graph view for relations can help you create powerful insights that may be harder to detect if you didn't have these tools available for you.

The workflow I attain is similar to what one would do in tools like Maltego, but simpler ofcourse. Maltego is way more extensive than Obsidian.
