My sympathies, OP. Having the information be found so easily from nothing more than a google search seems so much worse than "just" having it be part of a leaked database.

I think there are companies that will spam fake info around the web, so at least when people search for you, a bunch of bogus results show up. It doesn't remove the real results, but at least it sort of buries them. Not sure how much that sort of service costs, though.

Recently I Googled myself and found that my personal info (name, address, e-mail and phone) came up on a Google search, as it had been posted to this site by someone selling leaked data. I'd never even heard of this site before now. I've tried to contact the seller, and the moderators of this site to get them to take it down, but so far nobody has even replied to me. Wtf is wrong with people on here?? Can anyone help?
