I've got the same problem with Brave download. (even w/ hi-perf computer, 2Gbps fiber, and "pro" VPN.)

Can anyone suggest a good app to use to get files with the magnet link?

(While I've used Tor like apps before, it's been years.... And, while I understand the difference between a URI and a URL, not sure what simple way I can proceed from here....)

hey, im a complete newbie, and while trying to download it stops after 4% then has a network error how do i resolve this, with full instructions, and i also saw people had issues opening the file so could anyone help me with that as well?

A magnet link cannot go down. Metadata retrieval still works for me.

Check if your vpn provider allows p2p/torrenting
The free version of proton vpn doesn't allow torrenting and cloudflare warp slows everything down
Use mullvad with qbittorrent

You don't need to unpack the archives to search through them. No need for extra disk space or lots of RAM:
