Honestly, I've watched a lot of anime, but AoT just doesn't do it for me. To each their own, I guess. I would probably recommend to start you off with Deathnote. If you're looking for a funny anime, try Golden Boy. Baki is also good, if you like fight scenes.

AoT is great but it might be easier to start with something with fewer seasons like Death Note if new to anime, I lost focus a few times... Tokyo Ghoul is a good first watch too

It really depends if u like a political and maybe a philosophical approach to a story. Give it a watch and realize that for yourself :> have fun

Probably yes, but in my opinion I recommend first read manga and next see the anime. If you ended AOT, you have another options as Death Note, Vinland Saga, Cyberpunk, Jujutsu, Demon Slayer...

I would say Death Note is better start. But I have lots of friend who started watching anime with AOT. Attack on titan is an amazing anime but it might be confusing for the people who started to watch anime on last seasons.
