So I recentlywatched Civil War, and it got me thinking. How far away is the US from something like that happening if at all?

The gov intervening matters less then the people just not participating, by and large people in the us just don't care enough to take part in a civil war... they'd rather doom scroll

there will always be arguing back and forth. I doubt US will get to a full on civil war again.

I don't think there will be a civil war in the short term, at least not within the next 30 years.

The whole model of the world now, is to keep all debate in suspension, make trivial issues important, make important issues trivial and keep raking in the money from engagement online.

Deplatforming only happens to those seemed unprofitable, it's nor about values, T&C's etc
