I'm a frustrated 40-something (cusper/xeniel or whatever) and my son, who is 8 and loves the Beatles, wants albums of his own for Christmas, how do you gift people albums now?
The only place we have CD players is in our car, we mostly just stream, but he would really like to own some of his own music and I just don't know how "kids these days" own music.

I would get him vinyl or tape plus invest in turntable or tape player. It's worth it.

Buy him 1 year of spotify,
A Beatles CD (but nowdays even most computers don't have CD players)
Maybe buy the album on iTunes or whatever

Or you could just pirate that shit and grab him the audio files for free
