I think you've fallen for the wrong kind of vilification, you must understand the competing market against renewables, essentially the richest people on the planet see energy as a commodity coz it's powered by fossil fuels (something that has physical trading value, unlike light.. or ...uh..wind), then along comes an alternative that seeks to benefit the common man without the bosses making a tonne of money, right THERE is where the rhetoric becomes anti-green, and the threat of a green agenda becomes the boogeyman. That, right there, is manufactured consent.

Just like GME, when Hedge funds etc were bleeding money due to the average reddit user making bank and taking money from the rich arseholes, what did they do on this so called Un-regulated free market?
