Are you implying that Google explicitly left out these features from the Chromium engine and instead is a separate implementation on the main browser? If that's the case fair enough, but that does not sound right.

Brave is a good middle ground for privacy/security
Mullvad Browser/Librewolf are better options but since they're hardened by default it may break some sites and functionality

I don't like to log into any site on the laptop I access BreahForums. If you log in, and they record an IP then it makes sense that an FBI agent with an agreement with said website who might allow queries against those cookies/IP.
