I don't think so, boruto fans are only a small part of naruto fans, since even they don't like boruto very much, unless they make an epic plot twist and more old characters come out I don't think it will have much future

No, people will always compare it to naruto which is superior , Boruto just feels like a show for kids nevermind the terrible budget animation

Perhaps it was truly never intended for the old Naruto fans and instead made for the new generation of kids. And this eventually lead to the show's demise.

I think Boruto was a huge disappointment. It feels more like a cashgrab with trying to milk a already good story that was finished. Not to mention the many many many plotholes and what not.
